• Tennessee Sports Complex childcare hours are 1:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on school days and 6:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m. on non-school days.

• The holidays we observe by being closed are: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Christmas Eve will be based on registration for that day. If a holiday falls on Saturday, we will be closed the proceeding Friday; if it falls on a Sunday, we will be closed on the following Monday.

• State law requires that all enrollment forms must be completed and on file before any child may attend the complex. Please notify us of any change in work or home phone numbers in case of emergency. Also inform us of those persons authorized to pick up your child.

• Weekly tuition is due in full on Mondays, unless your child is absent. A $5 late fee will be added as of 6 p.m. on Wednesday. There is a $25 fee for handling returned checks. Lunches and field trips must be paid for in advance. These may be included in your weekly check. Any family whose fees are two weeks behind will jeopardize their enrollment.

• A $25 registration fee is due each year at the start of the school year. If the child is enrolled for the summer only, the registration fee is $15.

• Children must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. At 6:15 a $5 penalty will be imposed. $5 will be added to this fee every 15 minutes. At 7:00pm emergency contacts will be called to pick up your child.

• State law requires that a parent or guardian sign the child in and out daily. The child may not do this themselves no matter what their age.

• If a child becomes ill during the day, parents will be called and are required to take the child home. If the school has sent the child home, he may not attend the complex.

• We provide transportation from Eaton Elementary, Highland Park Elementary, Lenoir City Elementary, Lenoir City Middle and North Middle. We are on a tight schedule. Please phone on any regularly scheduled day that your child will not need transportation.

• Services provided include but are not limited to: breakfast for those arriving before 8am; morning and afternoon snack; and beverage for lunch.

• Children may purchase lunch from the deli for $3.00 per day or they may bring their own lunch from home. Menus are posted for lunch and snack by the day care desk.

• Outdoor play is part of our daily schedule as is use of the soccer floor. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the activities planned.

• The rules for children are to keep their hands and feet to themselves, speak respectfully to everyone, use appropriate language only, listen to the instructors and follow directions. We employ many types of discipline: redirection, sit & watch, time out, removal from a group, and dismissal from the program. All techniques are based on the age of the child and the severity of the problem and all are well within the DHS guidelines.

• We ask that the children refrain from bringing food, toys or money from home. We will try to protect all valuables but do not assume responsibility for them.
